The job description:
- Scale Aeris production infrastructure to support our growing ecosystem
- Design, deploy, and maintain reliable distributed systems
- Adhere to industry-standard security best practices
- Capacity management
- Write automation, monitoring, diagnostic and debugging tools
- Participate in our on-call rotation for incident response
Required Skills & Experience:
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- 7+ years’ web deployment experience handling Production as SRE, Development or similar role.
- Hands-on experience in deploying software in Private clouds and/or Public clouds (GCP/AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on experience working with Docker and Kubernetes. Google Kubernetes Engine experience is a big plus.
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: KSH, BASH, Perl, Python
- Hands-on experience with database management SQL (Oracle would be plus) and NoSQL(Cassandra would be plus).
- Strong experience working with NodeJS/Tomcat/JBoss based web-applications and web-services (SOAP, REST, etc.)
- Strong experience working on continuous integration using Maven, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
- Strong experience in GIT and parallel development, branching strategies and methodologies.
- Strong experience in setup and managing Test (Pre-Production) and Production environment.
- Must have worked with security standards for Web Applications and Services
- Experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Kibana, Grafana.
- Strong communications, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to adapt to time critical deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
